I am not feeling well today and not up to taking on a challenge. So I decided to knit some simple socks. This Opal self patterned yarn has been sitting in my knitting bag for quite some time. I typically like to knit socks from the toe up on some 8 1/2" circular knitting needles from Japan. The needles are not sold in the United States, I bought them several years ago from another knitter who was living in the Japan at the time. They are typically used to knit doll clothes. This time out I will be using a pattern from the book Knitting Circles Around Socks by Antje Gillingham which demonstrates how to knit two socks at a time on two circular needles.
